Vacuum packing machines perform the vacuum thanks to a pump that works with oil without detergent.
It is advisable to check the oil level weekly, which should cover 3/4 of the peephole located on the side of the packer.
Depending on the packaging model we will use different types of oil:
SAE-10 oil (without detergent): for tabletop vacuum packaging machines or packers with pumps up to 20 m3 / h. We will change the oil every 150 hours.
SAE-30 oil (without detergent): for stand-alone vacuum packing machines or packers with pumps of more than 20 m3 / h. We will change the oil every 300 hours.
When the pump has worked the indicated hours, when turning on the machine the display will mark "oil" and will flash for 10 seconds to warn that the oil must be changed.
The oil should also be changed if it is observed that it is emulsified. In packing machines with a pump of 40 m3 / h and higher, the oil filter must be changed simultaneously.
To carry out the oil change we will follow the instructions indicated in the following images, we recommend doing it when the machine is hot, since it will facilitate its emptying.
1. Release the 4 screws on the side cover and access the motor.
2. Drain the oil by removing the lower plug.
3. Fill the oil through the top plug to the maximum level.
4. Place the side cover by adjusting the four screws.
